BIC TALK: Data sharing in mobility: Protecting privacy and enabling innovation

23rd October 2019 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

About this Event

An evening panel by London Connectory and the Open Data Institute (ODI).

Transport is one of the many sectors where the improved flow of data can fuel innovation, however the potential risks to citizen and customer privacy require careful mitigation.

From data trusts to corporate accelerators, this panel is an opportunity to hear from how the private and public sector are working to drive innovation in mobility through data sharing, while ensuring that individual privacy is protected.

This event is in partnership with the Open Data Institute (ODI), which works with companies and governments to build an open, trustworthy data ecosystem, where people can make better decisions using data and manage any harmful impacts. Most recently, the ODI supported Data Pitch, an EU-wide accelerator that brings together corporate and public-sector organisations that have data to work with startups and SMEs to solve their challenges.

We will hear from a panel of brilliant speakers, moderated by Tzvete Doncheva (Nitrous), resident innovation manager at London Connectory.
